My name is Dan Marshall, and currently I split my time between the UK and Portugal.
I’ve worked in the IT industry for over 20 years, working freelance as an IT consultant and, most recently, as the IT Manager in an International school in central London.
Near the end of 2013 I started to ask myself, ‘why am I working, and where is my life going?’
I realised that I needed to:
– be my own boss so that I was not at the mercy of someone paying me a salary
I also needed to:
– escape the madness of technology as a profession
– find something that was fun, exciting, and that would give me a sense of purpose
I am now working to create an income and lifestyle for myself that will allow me the freedom to travel the world, and to pay for giving great experiences to people I care for.
